Zoning Review Committee

In 2008 the Town Board appointed a committee to consider possible changes to the Zoning Code. The purpose for these changes was to develop zoning that conformed to the goals of the Comprehensive Plan of 2007. For over three years a committee of town residents from the Town, Zoning and Planning Boards, members from the Comprehensive Plan Committee, the Building Inspector and Nan Stolzenburg, our consultant, have worked diligently and conscientiously on a new Zoning Code.

We have asked for and received input from people and committees whose opinions and input we valued. We are at the point where we would like input from Claverack residents. This is your town and we need you to participate.

Please review the attached documents. They include a short summary, the zoning proposals, subdivision proposals and a conceptual zoning map.
