Claverack is served by two public school districts depending on your location:

Claverack Youth Program

Summer: The Town of Claverack offers a six week free recreational program for school-age residents through age 16 at the Town Park located on Church Street.

We encourage kids to come to meet friends, build skills, have fun and keep busy during the long summer days! Unlike camps, youth may drop in and out as their summer schedule and activities allow.

Schedule
The program usually runs from the first week of July till
mid-August, 9am - 2pm. Field trips are offered for a fee on a first-come/first-served basis.

Transportation
Transportation to and from the park is provided for a fee. Out of town residents can attend for a fee.

Counselor Jobs
For those interested in applying for counselor jobs, please send in this form and return it to the Town Office at the end of the spring.

Winter: The Town of Claverack organizes a Winter Snowsports Program (snowboarding or skiing) for six days at the beginning of January at Catamount Ski Resort. Claverack youth age 8 and older may participate.

The program includes transportation, lift tickets, lessons and rentals. Signups for this discounted program begin in October and end November 9, 2010. Sign up forms are available at the town office at 91 Church Street (open M-F 9AM-3PM). Please contact Mary Daly (851-3321 or email) for more information.
